Referring to both the unit of measurement and musical patterns, Metre is an interactive speaker which utilizes its size for both volume and touch screen interaction.
I d e a t i o n
Ideation sketches were guided by a mood board to generate ideas of the final product.
Considerations were taken into the length and sturdiness of the speaker to create a monumental accessory.
C M F
Weaved cloth was chosen to be the surfacing of the speakers due to its soft and easy appearance in consideration the size of the body.
A p p r e c i a t i o n
Metre makes use of its spacious face to display the current song and its information.
Volume bar covers a great length to provide more interaction with the audio.
