Hi.

I'm Marco, an artist turned designer. I'm originally from Manila, Philippines and now graduated from my BFA in Product Design at Parsons School of Design, NYC.

I've been introduced to art the same age I learned to count, and since then have explored how to make it my career. I originally set my goal on becoming an illustrator to let my creativity be shared, but it was simple phrases around me such as "cool headphones" and "I need this couch" that made me realize I wanted my works to not only be admired and seen, but also bring a experiences to people. I then decided to become a designer in hopes that one day people will say the same things about my own works.

I believe that the best ideas are born from the most curious questions, and it is the intersection of logic and creativity that will provide the most confident answer. In an industry as subjective as design, I enjoy creative philosophies to be my guide, and to continuously be inspired by the design process. In light of this, I find myself creating things that may be simple, but far from basic - meaning that one could perhaps do what I do, but the idea of it would never come to them first.

If you're reading this, then you've seen my portfolio, and for that you have my gratitude. I'm always on the search for opportunity and if you're willing, would love to take yours.
